$17,332 Raised for Pink Revolution!
 Power Play Points for Pink As many of you know, 2011-12 marked the first year of the Holy Cross Men's Hockey “Power Play Points for PINK” fundraiser. This season, the men’s hockey team will continue to raise money for PinkRevolution, whose mission is to make pervasive change in the future of breast cancer by paving a path to a cure and beyond. Through donations and sponsorship, every power play goal scored at Crusader home games will raise money--with 100% of proceeds going to Pink Revolution. This season, the program has taken on a whole new meaning for me personally, as my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer in April. She is currently undergoing radiation and is fighting hard to win her battle. Her strength, perseverance and positive attitude are incredible attributes which I admire, and I am so proud of the way she has handled her adversity thus far. This year, we are very excited to be teaming up with both the HC Women's Hockey team and the HC Club Hockey team. We are in the process of recruiting sponsors, but wanted to share with you our enthusiasm and our aim to double last season's fundraising total, which was just under $4,000. We are very excited about the possibilities of “Power play Points for PINK!” this season, and we are enthusiastic to be working with Pink Revolution again. Every donation or sponsorship, whether large or small, will contribute to have a resounding impact on the lives of those touched by breast cancer. -Brandon Nunn
